Mela Festival

Myself and Fon the Pern had our own workshop stall at the Manchester Mela Festival in Platt Fields park. Making animals, plants and flowers out of coloured paper and card to decorate our area with the kids. We also made paper crowns which proved to be an enjoying exercise and product for them as they could wear the decorated crown around the festival like leaders of their jungle packs. So much fun and smiley faces!

Spectrum Pencil Crayons

To celebrate Fred Aldous Fred Aldous supplying arts and crafts to the good people of Manchester for 125 years! I was asked to paint a mural on Stevenson Square in the Northern Quarter.
I chose to do a spectrum of coloured pencils with gold wooden bits. Despite the rain it worked out beautifully and got a lot of positive comments from the folk in Manchester. Happy painty days! Photos taken by Lois Mcdonald
