Newtopia is open

Above are 2 photos from when we had the Caldershaw Primary School students come and see their exhibition. There were 60 kids and their parents and amazingly nothing got broken! It was an amazing project and a fantastic ending to see all their excited happy faces. The first i have ever done and it will no by any means be the last.

I would like to personally thank Nicky Culclough, Elizabeth Wewiora, Louise Hargreaves, Natalie Ellet, all the Chinese Arts Centre staff, the teachers and assistants at Caldershaw Primary and the kids themselves for all contributing, engaging and creating this project.

YOU WERE ALL AMAZING. Thank you.

Miss Led

Had a wonderful chance to hang out with friend Miss Led whilst she prepared for her large mural workshop with kids at Battersea Park. We mixed paint, drank tea and said goodbye to the sun.

British Ceramics Biennial

Teacup have a pop up tea shop ‘Drink Tea Eat Cake’ at the British Ceramics Biennial in Stoke On Trent. I was asked to come and paint some of my teacup characters and text pieces for them on the walls The building and exhibition itself looks to be awesome and definitely worth checking out.

The seats spell out Eat Cake / Drink Tea.. and there are some tea pots dotted around for good measure.
